Ritu Singh
PRESIDENT
Ritu is the President of the SABA Foundation, and has served on the Board for the past 5 years. Ritu is a partner at the law firm Dinsmore & Shohl where she has a patent law practice. She is based in Cincinnati, Ohio, and has been a committed member of the Foundation Executive Committee for many years as its Treasurer. This year she is also serving as President of the SABA North America local chapter in Ohio. One of Ritu’s goals is to create new opportunities for collaboration with different SABA chapters in North America. She is a graduate of Northwestern University, The Ohio State University, and The Ohio State University Mortiz College of Law.
Tejas Shah

Tejas Shah is a Partner at Barnes & Thornburg, a full-service business law firm. He is a seasoned attorney in immigration law and also maintains a pro bono practice assisting individuals and families through the National Immigrant Justice Center and Chicago Volunteer Legal Services. Since 2008, Tejas has had leadership roles with the local SABA Chicago chapter, SABA North America and the SABA Foundation. He previously served as a Trustee in 2010 and returns to the Foundation Board to help launch an initiative supporting an impact litigator position focused on the needs of different South Asian communities in the United States. He is a graduate of Duke University and the George Washington University Law School.
Ruchi Asher

Ruchi Asher is Vice President for the SABA North America Foundation. Ruchi is a litigator for a government agency in Cleveland, Ohio. Her practice ranges from employment discrimination, complex medical malpractice and other tort claims, and constitutional claims. Ruchi is a longtime volunteer in Northeast Ohio.
Kalpana Peddibhotla
Treasurer
Kalpana V. Peddibhotla is an attorney with 25 years of experience and has practiced immigration law for at least 18 years. Her practice areas have included employment and family-based petitions, naturalization, appeals, asylum, removal defense, and VAWA related relief, as well as federal litigation. Kalpana has been a volunteer attorney with Catholic Charities, the Muslim Community Association, the ACLU, and the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. Her Pro Bono work has also been recognized by the Tahirih Justice Center and the South Asian Bar Association of North America.
Rittu Kumar

Rittu is the Secretary of the SABA Foundation, and has served on the Board for the past year. Rittu owns her own law firm, Kumar Law, and her practice areas include business law, employment law, and estate planning. Rittu is new to the SABA Foundation, and has quickly become involved in many of its initiatives, and will direct her attention this year to building stronger relationships with different SABA North America chapters. She has previously served as the Law Student Outreach Chair for the South Asian Bar Association of Southern California. Rittu is a graduate of the University of Southern California and Loyola Law School.
Sa’adiyah Masoud

Sa’adiyah is the Immediate Past President of the SABA Foundation, and has served on the Board for the past 6 years. She is an Assistant General Counsel at Point32Health, a non-profit health care company in New England. Sa’adiyah has served in different leadership positions with SABA North America, the Foundation and the local Greater Boston SABA chapter, collectively for over 12 years, never missing a SABA conference since 2007. Her goals for the Foundation are tied to succession planning, building on the past successes of prior Boards, and continuing to find opportunities to support access to justice initiatives for different South Asian communities in the United State and Canada. She is a graduate of Duke University and the Boston University School of Law.
